Our story began in 1999 when our boss, Peter Xing, had just graduated from Shandong Agricultural University. Intrigued by insects and plankton, he established a small breeding facility for biological research. The discovery of the high nutritional value and easy cultivation of mealworms led to the creation of a cooperative farming society in 2003, the precursor to our current company. Under strong government support to boost local employment, numerous farmers were assisted in developing animal husbandry, resulting in strategic collaborations.

Due to increasing overseas demand for mealworms, Shandong New Future Export Company was established in 2007. The farming area expanded to 10,000 square meters, encompassing various insect species like mealworms, black soldier flies, crickets, grasshoppers, and more. This expansion also extended to fish food and feed production.

In 2013, leveraging local resources such as paulownia, willow branches, and water hyacinth, Peter's son, James Xing, founded Zheng Heshun Arts and Crafts Company, specializing in garden products and handwoven flower baskets. Today, the product range exceeds thousands, enjoying popularity among both domestic and international consumers.
